Dave Fraser
Chief Executive Office

Dave leads strategy and execution at Omnilert. He has been building innovative software products and companies for more than 30 years, with a passion for developing and bringing to market new products and services which have a direct, positive impact on everyday life. At Omnilert, this manifests through our mission to protect people who are at their most vulnerable during times of crisis, through fast, reliable communications and intelligence.

Prior to joining Omnilert, Dave was CEO of wireless pioneer Devicescape (acquired by Pareteum). He previously held a variety of roles including embedded leader Wind River (acquired by Intel), systems startup Convergent Technologies (acquired by Unisys) and Hewlett-Packard.

Dave graduated from Glasgow University, Scotland, with a Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Computer Science and from the Executive Institute at Stanford University. His interests include motorcycling, wine making, woodworking, and travel.

Ara H. Bagdasarian
Co-Founder

Ara co-founded Omnilert with Nick Gustavsson in 2004, to passionately pursue his vision of protecting people with new technology. Today, he leads industry and strategic alliance initiatives for Omnilert to push the envelope on adoption and capabilities.

Prior to founding Omnilert, Ara started XNETIX in 1996 which built web-based applications that powered hundreds of internet startup companies and helped grow the web event pioneer Communicast to acquisition.

Having defined the emergency notification market for higher education and campus environments, Ara continues to strive to set the pace in technology, knowledge, and customer enablement through critical communication advancements with the goal of empowering those responsible for protecting lives during a crisis.

He sits on the National Advisory Council for the VTV Family Outreach Foundation in an effort to provide advice, ideas, and guidance to support and ensure the success of VTV and its initiatives on a national level. Ara has been a mainstay on national media outlets for discussions related to emergency notification systems’ role in campus safety.

As an advocate for entrepreneurship education, Ara serves on the advisory board for the new Academies of Loudoun STEM magnet school and founded the Lemonhead Council where business leaders help future entrepreneurs succeed through peer advisory sessions. He recently testified to the United States Congress about the role government and entrepreneurs play in creating thriving communities through technological innovation and entrepreneurial development.

Ara is a graduate from the State University of New York College at Buffalo where he was the recipient of the Young Alumnus Achievement Award.

Niclas K. Gustavsson
CTO and Co-Founder

Nick drives all technology innovation for Omnilert. He is an expert in wireless and internet communications spanning more than 20 years. He advises the FAA, NAVY, Pentagon, Veterans Administration & DISA on wireless technology (ANVICOM). He is advisor to the George Mason University Enterprise Center on mobile issues and is also the Technology Incubation advisor to the town of Leesburg, Virginia.

Nick was an early developer of wireless products from Research in Motion (RIM) including BlackBerry. He was creator of the world’s first Wireless TTY Service (reachNET), which won Technology Product of the Year. He was creator of SmartData service (Columbia Technologies) which won Innovative Technology of the Year. He was also a wireless data pioneer with ARDIS & MOBITEX systems.

Nick was a member of the Mayor of Baltimore’s technology advisory board in 1999. He was a founding member of Baltimore Venture Mentors (business mentoring group) and is a current member of Venture Mentors of Virginia. He is also a commercial pilot and flight instructor.

Nick co-authored and published the how-to book on entrepreneurship, “The Lemonade Stand”, which presents a fresh perspective on embracing adversity to innovate and create sustainable organizations.

Nick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanersborg University in Sweden.

Phil Dalencour

Phil leads Product direction and execution at Omnilert. For more than 10 years he has led product initiatives across a diverse set of industries from digital media, advertising technology, consumer finance, and social media, and today in critical communications management with Omnilert.

Phil is passionate about people-centered product development realized at Omnilert through a focus on enabling our customers to help their students and staff, stay informed and safe.

Prior to his role at Omnilert, Phil managed large scale platform technology and operations with Google, led digital product at Viacom and Time Inc, product growth at Dribbble and product & design operations with Capital One.

Phil graduated from the City University of New York's Bernard Baruch College with a Bachelors in Media Communications after a tour in the United States Marine Corps and currently resides in the Northern Virginia area with his wife and children.

Brad drives the sales organization for Omnilert focusing on providing innovative technology solutions enabling our customers to ensure the safety of their most important asset, their people.

Prior to joining Omnilert, Brad has held executive sales roles for publicly and privately held Telecom and SaaS companies. His extensive experience optimizing sales organization structures, rolling out L&D initiatives, and executing go-to-market strategies has led to several profitable acquisitions.

Brad graduated with a Degree in Economics from Bethany College and resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons.
