Omnilert Wins 2010 Small Business of the Year Award

First time ever a company has unanimously won the highest award

LEESBURG, Va.

Omnilert®, LLC yesterday was named the “Small Business of the Year” at the 2010 Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards on November 4, 2010. This is the highest award of the event. It was the first time in the history of the awards that the members of the Small Business of the Year selection committee were unanimous in their choice. Ara Bagdasarian, Chief Executive Officer of Omnilert, accepted the award.

“It is really quite impressive that Omnilert was the unanimous choice of our Small Business of the Year judges,” said Tony Howard, president of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce. “With competition from 11 outstanding companies, each of them Small Business Award winners within their own respective categories, it is a true testament to the company’s exceptional performance that each of the judges felt strongly that Omnilert was the ‘best of the best’ among all small businesses throughout Loudoun County.”

“We are honored to receive this recognition,” exclaimed Ara Bagdasarian. “Loudoun County has an incredible business community that mixes an entrepreneurial environment with some of the best resources in the country.”

Competition for the awards was stronger than ever. There are more than 1,100 businesses in the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce. A total of 253 businesses were nominated in 9 categories for the 2010 awards. The small business of the year selection committee was comprised of Loudoun County business leaders and industry experts.
