Scores of Colleges Upgrade to e2Campus in 2011 Now more than 800 colleges, with 4 million subscribers, rely on e2Campus for simple, reliable and effective emergency notifications LEESBURG, Va. – December 20, 2011 – Omnilert®, LLC today announced over 50 additional colleges that have recently upgraded to e2Campus®, the leading interactive safety communication solution for education. There are now more than 800 colleges and 4 million subscribers relying on e2Campus for simple, reliable and effective emergency notifications. When upgrading to e2Campus, school officials cited the need for a more reliable, robust and easier-to-use emergency notification system that sends to multiple endpoints via one intuitive interface. Additionally, being able to launch a message from any mobile device remotely via an app experience was a consideration. University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Robert Morris University, Park University, Wartburg College, and Greenville Technical College were among the many that upgraded to e2Campus from alternative notification providers. Other notable schools among the 50 new clients include the entire San Diego Community College District, University of Wisconsin Eu Claire, and several University of Maryland branch campuses. Denise Fessenbecker, Director of General Services at Marymount College said, “We tried to inform our students near the Port of Los Angeles that there was no danger to the tsunami, but the alerting service failed to function throughout the day and the provider’s customer service was unresponsive for six days. In contrast, e2Campus has been very responsive, effective and easy to use. We have already used it once during an emergency and it worked beautifully. We like e2Campus for its simplicity, price and flexibility.” About e2Campus About Omnilert
